Terms of Service

By connecting your Strava account and using Nemesis Race Club (“the app”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

The app matches runners with rivals of similar pace and lets them race head-to-head, virtually, over a fixed time window. It reads your running activity data from Strava to compute matches and determine challenge results.

The app requires a connected Strava account. Your use of Strava is governed by Strava’s own terms. The app is not endorsed or certified by Strava. We access Strava data on a read-only basis only.

You agree not to:

• Manipulate, falsify, or fabricate activity data.
• Use the app to harass, threaten, or abuse other runners.
• Attempt to access other users’ accounts or data, or to disrupt the service.
• Use the app for any unlawful purpose.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Challenge outcomes are determined automatically from Strava activity data using the rules described in the app. Results are final once a challenge window closes. We are not responsible for missed challenges due to un-synced activities, Strava outages, or data discrepancies.

The app encourages physical exertion. You are solely responsible for your own health and safety. Consult a physician before beginning any exercise program. Never compromise your safety to win a challenge.

The app is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. It is an early-stage product and may contain bugs, change, or become unavailable at any time.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including injury, lost data, or service interruptions.

You may stop using the app at any time by disconnecting it in your Strava settings. We may suspend or end the service, or your access to it, at any time.

We may update these terms. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
